Carey Park have grinded their second win of the season, defeating the Eaton Boomers by 29 points at Kelly Park today.

The Panthers dominated in the contests, winning a number of clearances and 50-50 contests in the 13.11 (89) to 9.6 (60) victory.

James Wallam (four goals) and Cody Haub (four goals) provided an excellent target for the Panthers midfielders in Kieran King, Chris McMillan and Jake Thurstan who dominated much of the match.

The Harvey Bulls have rebounded from last weekend’s loss to defeat Busselton 8.13 (61) to 7.2 (44).

After starting slow, the Bulls kicked into gear in the second quarter, with Joseph Versaci lively up forward and Anton Fimmano playing well in defence his second league game.

The Lions have won their second game in a row and ended Bunbury’s undefeated streak, with Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault winning 8.9 (57) to 5.11 (41).

The Lions dominated the game from start to finish, defending well on their way to a 16 point win.

Bunbury kicked four goals in 10 minute burst during the second quarter, but managed just one more for the rest of the game.

Jay Walton was again a star, kicking four goals, while Lloyd Beaver was solid across the four quarters.

While at Gloucester Park, Augusta-Margaret River have suffered their third straight loss to start the season, going down to Donnybrook 15.13 (103) to 8.7 (55).
