Search on for missing man

A sea and aerial search is under way off the coast of Bunbury this morning for a Binningup man who failed to return from a fishing trip on schedule.

The 61-year-old man was due to return last night after leaving from the Bunbury Yacht Club in his 8.6m cabin cruiser on Monday.

Bunbury Sea Rescue volunteers have joined water police in the search this morning.

Police say the man is an experienced fisherman and his boat has emergency equipment and supplies on board.
