Seventh front in eight days for SW

A severe weather warning for the South West has again been issued, with what will be the seventh cold front in eight days expected to cross the region this afternoon and this evening.

The Weather Bureau is warning residents to expect dangerous gusts in excess of 125kph and flooding, with heavy showers and thunderstorms forecast.

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority is urging residents to secure loose objects, move vehicles under cover and stay inside away from windows.

Today, the Bureau has predicted a maximum temperature of 19 C, with showers forecast for tomorrow and a maximum of 16 C.
