Despite leading early in the game, the Slammers fell away and succumbed to the pressure put on by the Buss, with the home side dominating the second half to claim the 16 point win.

Buccs recruit Matthew Adekponya led the home side with 31 point and 12 rebounds, while Aaron Ralph (23 points) and Carter Cook (21 points) were all impressive.

Slammers import Tre Nichols top scored for the game with 34 points, while Royal Crouch scored 30 point and Trent Worthington returned to the side to grab a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Slammers now prepare for the Willetton Tigers on Saturday night at the Willetton Basketball Stadium.
