Four Bunbury teenagers who have spent their entire school journey together will be able to continue it after all being accepted into UWA courses.

University preferences were released last week for students who finished Year 12 last year and it revealed good news for many, including one particular group.

Justin Workman, Elana Dillon, Lydia Hemson and Ainslie Jolliffe spent their primary school years at Bunbury Primary School before moving to Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School for their secondary education.

Lydia, who will study a Bachelor of Arts, said it was a "pretty big relief" to be accepted into UWA and said the group "feels like a family" who knew how to help each other with their studies.

Justin, who will study commerce, believed already knowing people at the same university would be helpful.

"It will be good to know some people before meeting others, especially with making friends," he said.

Elana will study pharmacy while Ainslie will study a Bachelor of Science with an assured pathway into medicine. All four also have siblings who are either at, or have finished, university courses.

Bunbury Primary School associate principal Franca Dillon said she recalled that group of students, who graduated from primary school in 2010, as being particularly strong.

"When I reflect on the kids in that group, they were a strong cohort who were academically talented and sporting," she said.

Second round offers for the State's universities will be released by the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre on Wednesday.
