Bunbury dancer Dianne Buswell has described her Dancing with the Stars experience as intense as she faces a double elimination week on the show.

The 26-year-old is partnered with retired Sydney Swans AFL champion Jude Bolton in her first appearance as one of the show's professional dancers.

Miss Buswell has declared she and Bolton have plenty more to offer and said neither of them is ready to go home yet.

"It's been very good and very intense," she said.

"The competition is getting stronger and stronger and Jude doesn't want to go home yet and neither do I.

"I think we have a lot more to offer and Jude keeps getting better."

The show has been running for three weeks with two of the 11 contestants already eliminated.

Miss Buswell said the feedback from her hometown community has been "absolutely incredible" with one lady approaching her while at the airport to say she was also from Bunbury.

Airports have been a regular feature of Miss Buswell's life in recent weeks, spending the week in Sydney for rehearsals before flying to Melbourne for the live show each weekend.

The pair has spent about five hours rehearsing each weekday, juggling it around Bolton's football commentary and family commitments, a process complicated by the fact his wife Lynette is a fellow Dancing with the Stars contestant this year.

"We have to get a dance up and running every week now," Miss Buswell said.

"A lot of the competitors had a little bit of dance training before but my partner Jude had none."

Miss Buswell said it was a challenge to get Bolton to grasp different dance styles every week but described their second week performance, set to Foo Fighters song _Best of You _, as their standout.

"It was a tribute to him winning the grand finals which I think sat well with him and it was a very manly dance."

The show airs at 8pm this Sunday on GWN7.
