A Donnybrook man will be sentenced in July after pleading guilty to using social media to communicate with a 14-year-old girl in a sexual manner.
Paul Nigel Beswick, 53, appeared in Bunbury Magistrates Court this morning via video link from Bunbury Regional Prison, despite previously being granted bail of $2000.
Beswick used social media to communicate in a sexual manner with the girl in January this year.
Beswick pleaded guilty to one count of using electronic communication with intent to expose a person under the age of 16 to indecent matter.
Police prosecutors dropped a second charge of using the same method to procure the girl to engage in sexual activity.
Pre-sentence and psychological reports have been ordered for Beswick, before he is sentenced in the Bunbury District Court on July 18.
