Sweet Aussie voice back on tour

South Western Times

Tickets to Lisa Mitchell’s Bless This Mess tour are on sale from today.

Bless ThisMess, a reference to life and all its wonderful chaos and colour, is both the title track of Mitchell’s highly anticipated new album to be released on October 12 and the name of her new single available now.

It has been three years since Mitchell’s debut album Wonderfirst set hearts aflutter— going on to win the Australian Music Prize for album of the year as well as attaining platinum sales status.

And now she’s back.

Bless This Mess, the single, is inspired by the household saying often seen cross-stitched and hanging on Nanna’s wall and is the followup toMitchell’s uplifting SpiritusEP released earlier this year.

Featuring Mitchell’s trademark lyrics and melodies, Bless This Mess also features her rocking out like never before.

Both Bless This Mess and Spiritus will feature on Mitchell’s sophomore album.

Fans will be pleased to know Mitchell is set to hit the road again next month with a full six-piece band and a swag of rich and wonderful new songs.

She will be joined by special guests and good friends Alpine and Danco, with the tour stopping in at the Prince of Wales Hotel on October 27.

Tickets are $25 plus booking fee and are available from www.oztix.com.au.
