Captain Matt Martin booted six goals to lead Carey Park to a hard-fought 20-point victory over Bunbury at Kelly Park on Sunday.

The Panthers led by 26 points at half-time but had to withstand several fight backs in the second half as the Dogs rallied.

Two of Martin’s majors opened up breathing space for Carey Park at a crucial stage midway through the final term when the visitors were within striking distance.

Bunbury’s Jordan Adamson-Holmes was a standout on the ball while midfielder Callum Leslie had several important clearances for the home side.

Eaton stretched its 2013 undefeated streak to 10 with a tough 35-point victory over the Collie Eagles.

Both teams regularly succumbed to intense pressure with several easy shots on goal wasted at the Collie Recreation Ground.

The Boomers ran away with the game, booting four goals in the final five minuets to blow the margin out in what was an otherwise close contest.

Rohan Lilly booted four goals for Eaton in the 10.15 (75) to 4.16 (40) win.

Blair Malatesta, Will Cleggett and Brendan Marshall all played reserves for Collie.

The Magpies kicked eight goals to two in the fourth term to run out 17.6 (108) to 12.10 (82).

The match was tumultuous at times, with both Aaron and Brandon Jetta yellow carded in the second quarter.

Donnybrook produced a five-goals-to-two final term to overrun Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault by eight points at VC Mitchell Park.

Curtis and Jarrad Guglielmana were outstanding for the home side in the 15.10 (100) to 14. 8 (92) triumph while Jeff Smith was also a dominant force.

The Dons had trailed by 13 points at the final change.

At Gloucester Park, South Bunbury moved back inside the top three with a 17.5 (107) to 7.14 (56) triumph over Augusta-Margaret River.

The Tigers set the victory up with a seven-goals-to-two opening term.
