Brendan Page was the hero for Donnybrook when he kicked a behind with just seconds on the clock to give the Dons a one-point win over Busselton at VC Mitchell Park.

It looked as if the two teams would play out the league’s fifth draw of the season, until a brave mark in defence by vice-captain Cody Miller started a play which resulted in Page kicking the winning score to give the home side a 8.15 (63) to 10.2 (62) victory.

Bunbury have inflicted Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault their first loss of the season when they claimed a 26-point win at Payne Park today.

The Bulldogs held the Lions to just one point in the first term and took that advantage through the next three quarters to win 13.10 (88) to 9.8 (62).

The Harvey Bulls cemented themselves firmly inside the top-five with a dominant 67-point win over South Bunbury at Hands Oval today.

It was all the Bulls way from start to finish and they never surrendered the lead on their way to a 15.10 (100) to 4.9 (33) win.

Jacob Pickett, Josh Krispyn and Brett Lofthouse all booted three goals for the Bulls.

The Collie Eagles are a chance of claiming the minor premiership after a tight seven-point win over the Eaton Boomers at Glen Huon Reserve.

In a low scoring game, the Eagles continued their great season while putting a dent in the Boomers’ finals aspirations with a 5.5 (35) to 4.4 (28) victory.

Augusta-Margaret River held on to defeat the lowly Carey Park by six points at Kelly Park today.

The Panthers booted five goals in the last term and threatened to steal their first win of the season, but fell just short, losing 9.9 (63) to 8.9 (57).
