Eaton survived a scare from South Bunbury to claim a 26-point victory and remain undefeated on a soggy Sunday of football in the South West.

The Boomers hit the front in the shadows of three-quarter time and pulled away with a four-goals-to-nil final term at Hands Oval.

Eaton’s Chris Atthowe booted two goals and starred in the centre while Karl Collard kicked two goals in the last quarter to help set up the 9.12 (66) to 6.4 (40) win.

Guy Piggott kicked two goals for the Tigers while ruckman Craig Ellen was also handy.

The Collie Eagles claimed their sixth consecutive triumph after holding off Busselton in damp conditions to claim a 13-point victory.

A third quarter downpour at the Collie Recreation Ground ensured the second half was a dour arm-wrestle with only three goals kicked.

Eagle Alex Tweedie made the game his own with a six-goal haul in the 9.6 (60) to 6.11 (47) triumph.

The burly utility booted Collie’s only goal in the second half – a crucial steadier midway through the final term when the game was in the balance.

Donnybrook made it two wins in a row with an important 7.11 (53) to 6.9 (45) victory over Bunbury at a wet and windy VC Mitchell Park.

Jeff Smith, Kris Clarkson and Chris Sheehan all starred for the Dons in the soggy contest while Daniel Billson booted three majors.

Augusta-Margaret River held Carey Park goalless until the final seconds of the game at Gloucester Park to record its sixth win of the year.

The Hawks defeated the Panthers 4.6 (30) to 1.12 (18) in a stormy affair with heavy rain falling at regular intervals throughout the match.

Carey Park had its opportunities, especially in the second half, but failed to convert kickable goals.

In the final game of the round, the Harvey Bulls claimed a historic 18-point triumph over arch rivals Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault at the Harvey Recreation Ground on Sunday.

The 9.11 (65) to 6.11 (47) win was the Bulls first over the Lions since entering the Plunkett Homes SWFL in 2009 and means they take home the Harvey Fresh Cup.

Graham Jetta turned it on for Harvey while Daniel Kerr was a standout for the visitors.
