Busselton recorded their first win of the season, defeating the Eaton Boomers at Boyanup Oval this afternoon by 24 points.

It looked as if it would be a welcome homecoming for the Boomers to their old home ground, with Eaton dominating the game, but managed to kick 3.15 for the first half.

The Magpies had kicked just one goal to half-time, but came out after the main break and fired, with Brendan Cribb (four goals for the game) showing his skills and helping the Magpies win 9.13 (67) to 4.19 (43).

The Boomers will rue a missed opportunity after letting the chance for their first win of the season slip through despite dominating for a half of football.

The Harvey Bulls have kept their good home record intact, defeating Augusta-Margaret River 13.10 (88) to 8.4 (52).

Joseph Versaci kicked three goals for the Bulls, while Josh Krispyn had a game to remember, dominating for four quarters.

The Hawks tried hard, with Mitch Fairclough kicking two goals for the visitors.

South Bunbury set up their win against Donnybrook in the first quarter, keeping the Dons goalless on their way to a 10.9 (69) to 5.3 (33) win.

The Tigers kicked six goals in the first quarter, but the Dons fought back thanks to three goals from Shaun Towers.

But the Dons were missing key players and could not mount a big enough comeback, with the Tigers winning comfortably.

Ruckman Chris Andrew continued his dominance, after being named best on ground in the Dr Ern Manea Memorial Cup match.

The Collie Eagles have upset Bunbury at home, winning 7.15 (57) to 6.9 (45).

The tough contest was played in even tougher conditions, with a strong breeze blowing across the ground.

The Eagles were clean with their ball use all day and stormed home in the last to get across the line.
