An undermanned South Bunbury have fought out a brave effort to defeat Donnybrook by 28 points today at VC Mitchell Park.
The Tigers lost experienced midfielders Damon Bull and Kurt Cadman before half-time, but through forward pressure from Leigh Kohlmann (four goals) and Brynn Francis (three goals) they managed to defeat a resilient Dons 12.7 (79) to 8.3 (51).
Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault won the Harvey Fresh Cup, defeating the Harvey Bulls by 21 points.
The Lions were dominant after half-time to claim the 11.11 (77) to 8.8 (56) win.
Bunbury have held on to defeat Augusta-Margaret River by 23-points at Payne Park today.
The Bulldogs failed to kick a goal in the last term, but held on to win 11.15 (81) to 8.10 (58).
Chris Atthowe led the Eaton Boomers to a 52-point win over Busselton at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday night.
Atthowe and forward Jay Walton both booted three goals in the 15.10 (100) to 7.6 (48) victory.
