A group dubbing themselves The Cathies are gearing up for the next annual Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever, a charity event which sees people dress up and dance like Kate Bush.

On Saturday at 10am, South West enthusiasts will flock to the Pat Usher Foreshore dressed as Kate Bush to perform the famous choreography from her smash 70s hit Wuthering Heights.

This will be the seventh edition of the charity event, raising money for Solaris Cancer Care.

The event is a world-wide phenomena which caught on after a popular Brighton Fringe show called Shambush in 2013.

It has since turned into an annual tradition, with major crowds gathering in the UK, Melbourne and Berlin.

Some of the crowds gather in order to break the record for most people dressed as Kate Bush in one place.

Bush has seen a resurgence in popularity after the inclusion of her song Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) was featured in the Netflix series Stranger Things in 2022, resulting in the song topping the charts in eight different countries nearly 40 years after it was released.

Anyone is welcome to join the Cathies this Saturday and people are encouraged to bring donations.
