The Harvey Bulls are looking to repeat their early season heroics and defeat South Bunbury on Sunday.

A 24-point victory in Round 7 over the Tigers was the highlight of the Bulls season so far and this weekend they travel to Hands Oval where they will be hoping to do it again.

The loss was compounded for the Tigers by injuries to ruckman Chris Andrew, Leigh Kohlmann and Jason Cobett.

South Bunbury coach Mark Docking said injuries played a part in the loss but the Tigers’ midfield was dominated in the clash.

“We have got to learn from that and improve,” he said.

“Winning the midfield battle in most games goes a long way.”

“But we have got to have a consistent spread across the board.”

Andrew has not played since the clash against the Bulls and Docking admitted the co-captain was unlikely to play again this season.

A win this weekend for the Tigers will put them one step closer to wrapping up this season’s minor premiership and a break in the first week of the finals.
