South Western Times

Busselton's Jackson Arbon was duly awarded best afield after his side defeated Augusta -Margaret River by 12 points in a low scoring affair, in the Busselton Toyota Cup at Gloucester Park on Saturday night.

Teammate Jed Kemp spearheaded the forward line, booting four goals, while Hawk Kane Hadden’s heroics was not enough to boost Augusta-Margaret River as Busselton took charge of the scoreboard from the outset to finally win 8.7 (55) to 5.13 (43).

Meanwhile, earlier in the day South Bunbury claimed their eighth win of the season, defeating the Eaton Boomers by 59 points at Boyanup Oval.

The Tigers were challenged early, but kicked away in the second quarter to claim the 17.12 (114) to 8.7 (55) victory.

Today, three big games take place with Bunbury hosting the Harvey Bulls, Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault set to take on Donnybrook and Carey Park clashing with the Collie Eagles.
