Truck driver misses bridge

A truck towing two trailers crashed over the bank of the Preston River about 8am backing up hundreds of cars.

Police and firefighters were on the scene while a tow truck attempted to pull the truck back onto the road.

Firefighters attempted to stop the spread of fuel and oil in the Preston River with floating booms.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
