Wallam Watch: Harvey sharpshooter solid contributor despite tough loss to Magpies

Despite the Collingwood Magpies getting the better of the Queensland Firebirds, Harvey’s Donnell Wallam has put in another solid effort within the goal circle.

As the Suncorp Super Netball heads towards the finals, Wallam once again started in goal shooter for the Firebirds during Sunday’s match against the Magpies.

Although the Firebirds were edged out 71-67, the 28-year-old managed 31 goals as well as a super shot during the match.

Wallam also finished with a goal assist, five rebounds and two feeds.

The Queensland Firebirds are set to return to action on Wednesday for round 10, when they travel to Adelaide to take on the Thunderbirds.
