Bunbury City Council has launched an online portal for the community to have its say on the issues discussed at last week’s CBD Planning Forum.

The Social Pinpoint portal includes an interactive map of Bunbury with users able to drag and drop a marker at specific points of interest and provide comment relating to that area.

There is also an ideas wall where users can contribute, collaborate and brainstorm with one another.

Participants can also give their opinion on the CBD parking strategy.

Mayor Gary Brennan said Bunbury and Bunbury Geographe residents were encouraged to have their say.

“We want creative and innovative ideas to help shape the future of this paradise we call home,” Mr Brennan said.

“The Civic and Cultural Precinct is one of the most significant and exciting projects to be earmarked for the city and in order to get it right we need to hear from the people who live here and also visit here.”

Two pop-up events will also be held at Cafe 140 on August 3 and at the Festival of Japan event on August 11.

The online portal is open until August 18.
