Aces, Eagles play for pride
It will be a battle for who stays on the bottom of the ladder in round seven of the men’s Bunbury Basketball Association action tomorrow night.
Aces White and Eaton Eagles will be playing for pride when both teams take to the court in a bid for their first win of the season.
Both teams will be looking to bounce back after a horror 58-point loss for Aces against the Dunsborough Oilers and a similar 50-point thrashing for Eagles against Aces Sky.
Sky will take on Tornadoes Black in a match which will determine second place on the ladder and in the final game of the men’s round, the Oilers will be hoping to challenge top-of-the-table Bulls.
In the women’s matches, Tornadoes Black will play to move another game clear on top of the ladder when they take on last-placed Aces Sky.
Aces will need to work hard defensively to shut down a spread of in-form shooters from the premiership favourites.
In the final match of the women’s round, second place on the ladder could be decided between Tornadoes Red and the Oilers.
Tornadoes Red will be hoping to build on their momentum in a four-point loss to club mates and ladder leaders Tornadoes Black last week while the Oilers will look to continue their improved season with a win.
