Art group draws healthy support

INSIDE a typical suburban Bunbury home, Julia Bell and Jinny Morton have created a place where people can connect over a love of still life art for all abilities.

This month, non-profit art group Easely does it supported the Act Belong Commit campaign by raising money to contribute to a more mentally healthy WA at its fortnightly sessions.

Ms Bell said the group was a great way to live the Act Belong Commit message in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

“We decided to support Act Belong Commit because the campaign reflects exactly what we are about – getting out, involved, meeting like-minded people and sharing a passion for something,” she said.

“Likewise, our models will agree that the experience they have had has given them the confidence to love the skin they are in – definitely a healthy mindset.

“It’s something a lot of people haven’t tried before and we have met some really different people from all walks of life.”

Ms Bell said participation in the class only required a donation for the models and equipment used. Find out more by calling 0426 812 191.
