Boyanup pull off good win against Collie

Boyanup pulled off one of the victories of the season, defeating Collie 9-2 in one of their best performances yet.

Jonelle and Paige Zabajnik scored two goals each in the All-Blacks’ seven-goal win, with Anita Scott, Phoenix Green, Ella du Preez, Maddy Fenwick and Paige Stegman all getting on the score sheet.

Megan Crowe and Jodie Pilatti scored goals for the Coalminers to make sure they did not go home without any points.

Marist pushed themselves into the top four after a 2-1 win over Associates, with Sari Wooton and Emma Stonard playing solid games.

Courtney Barton and Kym Malloy scored for the Blues, while Denby Lynn’s goal was the only score for Associates.

TownsSouth kept their finals hopes alive with a 3-0 win over the lowly Exies.

Charlie Wicksteed, Hillary Rodgers and Emma Barrett all managed to score goals for TownsSouth in the important victory.

Capel put up a fight against Robins, but ultimately went down 1-0 in a fantastic contest.

Jordanna Begaon was the only goalscorer for the match.

Tomorrow night Exies play Associates from 6.35pm, while on Saturday Capel battle TownsSouth in Busselton at 1.30pm and Robins travel up the hill to take on Collie.

Boyanup host Marist to finish the round at the Bunbury Hockey Stadium from 1.45pm.
