Branch offers COVID care package support
The supplies needed to maintain a COVID-19 safe environment for community groups and clubs can be expensive, but Donnybrook’s Bendigo Bank have offered support in the form of care packages.
The care packages were offered to 35 groups and clubs around Donnybrook, to help them with the costs associated with keeping their members safe.
The packs are worth about $350 each and include hand sanitiser, paper towel, toilet paper, disinfectant, gloves and rubbish bags.
“We just saw local groups were struggling to be COVID safe so we thought we could provide them with some packs to help them,” she said. “They are obviously really expensive cleaning products so it is just something we need in the community.”
Supplies were collected by representatives of the groups at the Bendigo Bank on Thursday.
Recipients included the Donnybrook Netball Association, Donnybrook Men’s Shed and the Donnybrook and Bunbury Gourmet Toastmasters clubs.
