Breakfast to celebrate at Donnybrook fun park

South Western Times

A free community breakfast will be held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Donnybrook’s Apple Fun Park.

Donnybrook shire chief executive officer Ben Rose said the park held a special legacy for the community.

“It was an idea borne from our local community, coordinated by the community and involved a significant fundraising effort which was embraced by everyone,” he said.

“We are very proud that the fun park has not only delighted our local children, but been a huge source of fun and entertainment for children all over the South West and a must-do activity for tourists.

“It has provided significant economic benefits for Donnybrook and the South West.

“The 10th birthday celebrations will add to the already action-packed Easter weekend with the popular Donnybrook Apple Festival running over Saturday and Sunday.”

The free barbecue breakfast will be held on Saturday, March 31.
