Bridge works to shut down South West Mainline
Work to replace two rail bridge structures between Coalfields Highway and Russell Road will be undertaken over the next month.
Pre-works have started on the site ahead of a shutdown of the South West Mainline from February 24 to March 1.
Work will be undertaken around the clock in that period.
The work has been scheduled to meet an expected increase in customer train loading and to relieve temporary speed restrictions on the line.
Work on three nearby level crossings will also be completed.
