Brittain Road works on horizon

Brittain Road near Bunbury Turf Club is set to be widened with Bunbury City Council next week expected to approve plans.

The turf club has applied for a portion of road reserve it uses as a carpark and horse float parking area to be closed for amalgamation to its adjoining property.

As part of consultation, council staff have negotiated for the turf club to cede a substantial portion of its land to the council for road widening of Brittain Road.

The council will vote next week.
