Bunbury man Bryce Graham Heard to find alternative bail address after being rejected from initial address

A 24-year-old Bunbury man accused of committing a series of robberies alongside a 39-year-old man over three days in Perth and the South West has adjourned his bail application after his proposed address was rejected. Bryce Graham Heard appeared in Bunbury Magistrate’s Court via video link from Bunbury Regional Prison on Friday where a bail application was made on his behalf. During the bail application hearing, Mr Heard proposed a relative’s home address for him to reside in while his charges were still before the courts. However, as police conducted inquiries to assess the suitability of the address, they received an email from the resident of that property who said Mr Heard was “not welcome after the trouble he caused last time”. Mr Heard faces several charges including aggravated robbery, criminal damage by fire, two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, 11 counts of stealing, three counts of trespassing and a further charge of attempted stealing. It was alleged Mr Heard committed a series of burglaries over the space of three days in October, with the alleged incidents taking place in Davenport, Roelands, South Perth, Butler, Alkimos, Jindalee, Joondalup and Madeley. Co-accused Robert David Whitbread previously pleaded guilty to all of his charges last week. Mr Heard’s bail application was adjourned to March 25 to allow him to find an alternative residential address.
