Bunbury United still on track for championship
The South West Soccer Association champions Bunbury United are still on track for back-to-back championships after defeating Hay Park 3-1 at Hay Park on Sunday, needing just one point to claim the title.
Also headed for club honours this season is star United defender Ryan Risdon, who put on a fine show and kicked a goal, while Aaron Britian booted two to help the champions to a victory. Ryan Price scored the only goal for Hay Park.
Hot on the heels of United are Dynamos who closed the gap with a 1-0 win over Busselton in Busselton on Sunday.
Jack Menzies scored the winner for Dynamos.
The women’s Premier League is also tight with Hay Park and Eaton-Dardanup separated by a solitary point, with Australind looking in.
Last week Eaton-Dardanup crushed Collie 12-0, while Australind belted Busselton 7-0.
