Young women’s breast cancer charity So Brave will launch its fourth annual fundraising calendar next month which features Bunbury woman Jennifer Rowe.

Along with other breast cancer survivors, Mrs Rowe was transformed by a body paint artist and featured as the face of February.

Mrs Rowe said she was confident she could fight off her cancer.

“I was so determined and upbeat that I was going to beat this cancer.”

Young breast cancer survivor, managing director and founder of So Brave Rachelle Panitz said the calendar aimed to raise money and awareness for breast cancer, while empowering cancer survivors.

“Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women aged 20-39 years,” Mrs Panitz said.

“The So Brave calendar is a celebration of the women and of their bravery in facing breast cancer and in sharing in this body painting experience to raise awareness and money to fight this disease.

“2019 has been an incredible year of growth for So Brave and we are thrilled to be able to bring our beautiful imagery and mission to raise awareness to even more communities across Australia.”

Mrs Paintz said the calendar featured young women from South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, and Victoria. Mrs Rowe will travel to Brisbane for the national launch.
