Mangles Corner Store owners were left to clean up a massive mess at the weekend after a car ploughed into the popular deli.

Police, firefighters, State Emergency Service volunteers and the community responded to the frightening crash about 1.40am Saturday.

Bunbury police said it appeared a 20-year-old man who lived nearby, failed to negotiate a corner before slamming into the Minninup Road store.

Police ruled out any alcohol was involved, but officers were still investigating to find out what happened. No one was injured in the crash.

The store owners could not be contacted for comment, but they took to social media to thank those who helped in the clean up and to confirm the store was back to business as usual.

“What a fantastic team for the huge clean up ... we also appreciate the huge community customer support,” the post said.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience of closing early ... the shop will trade as normal tomorrow (Sunday).”
