City of Bunbury programs and activities to be suspended
Bunbury residents are set to face more cancellations after the City of Bunbury today announced it would be suspending a number of city-run programs and activities.
From 5pm tonight, city-run programs, events, school visits, workshops and city-led activities will be suspended at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery, Bunbury Public Library, Withers Community Library and Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre.
The facilities will remain open to the public with social distancing protocols and additional sanitation practices in place, with staff to continue to take extra precautions around hygiene and customer interaction.
The South West Sports Centre has suspended its social netball competition until further notice based on advice from the State Netball Association.
Group fitness classes and other activities will have reduced numbers in order to meet indoor public gathering advice.
The Bunbury Wildlife Park and the Bunbury Visitor Centre will also be remaining open and continue to adhere to the same protocols.
The city said staff and the community’s safety and wellbeing was the highest priority.
