The Souwest Jets have named the squad they hope will lift them from the bottom of the table with the WA Netball League season less than a month away.

The squad features a raft of new faces with only six players in the 12-player list being carried over from the start of last season.

There are still some familiar faces with Jennifer Brown, Brooke Gibson, Kate Kimberley, Claire Pickerill, Brooke Repacholi and Elycce Webb all returning for the new season.

Coming into the team is Deni Agnew, Rylee Hall, Sydney Rafferty, Toni-Marie Smith, Brooke O’Connor and Bianca Grickage, a 2023 training partner.

With the departure of Giselle Taylor, the Jets’ leading scorer in 2023, there is now a position for Kimberley to fill in the attacking circle.

Ella Eastaugh has moved to the East Freo Sharks and will play alongside her sister.

The Jets won just one game last season in the Open category. It came as a five goal win in the penultimate round against fellow strugglers Peel Lightning.

They will play the Warriors at Eaton Recreation Centre on March 10 in round one.
