The inaugural $78,000 WesTrac Bunbury Geographe Gift is attracting the attention of some of Australia’s top athletes.

Entries for the April 28-29 handicap sprint race opened this week and the winner of the recent $13,500 Bay Sheffield Gift, Sasha Zhoya, is looking forward to racing in Bunbury.

Sasha, 15, is one of Australia’s most exciting young talents and he will face strong challenges from Olympian Peter Bol and the talented Jack Hale and Trae Williams.

Also confirmed for the event is Australia’s fastest under 20 woman Riley Day and Bay Sheffield finalists Dylan Panizza, Taylor Sharpe and Virginia Stasyszyn.
