Gnomesville residents left starstruck after visit
The beloved garden gnomes from Gnomeo and Juliet spent some downtime in the South West as they prepared for their action-packed sequel Sherlock Gnomes to hit the big screen today.
The film’s stars, Gnomeo, Juliet and their friend Nanette the frog, took a road-trip from Perth to Bunbury, stopping off at many of the local sites in the area before arriving at their destination – Gnomesville.
Here they were greeted by over 10,000 gnomes who live among the Ferguson Valley bushland at the Ferguson Road and Wellington Mill Road intersection.
Gnomesville has become a travel stop for many tourists who drop by to marvel at the magic of the place.
The Shire of Dardanup announced earlier this year it would fund an upgrade to the parking and surrounding area of the tourist attraction.
