Harvey Football Club mourns death of player

The Harvey Football Club is in mourning following the death of a player at a training session last night.

While the circumstances around the tragic incident are unclear, the South Western Times understands a player collapsed during training.

A police spokesman confirmed a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at Harvey Hospital about 7pm.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

It is understood the club is considering its options regarding this weekend’s games against Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault.
