Have your say on regional education

South West people are urged to have their say in a landmark review into regional, rural and remote education initiated by the Federal Government.

The discussion paper, prepared by reviewer emeritus professor John Halsey, identifies the key issues and challenges faced by rural students and poses areas of focus to stimulate ideas about possible solutions.

Submissions close at 3pm on August 29, with more information available from education.gov.au.

The final report and recommendations will be provided to Government by the end of this year.
