Scores of players and spectators poured into the Bunbury Hockey Stadium over the weekend for Bunbury’s annual junior carnival.

Aside from plenty of high-quality junior action, spectators were also treated to a riveting senior clash on Saturday afternoon between the Perth Hotspurs and WA Country Invitational side, which finished 2-all.

The Hotspurs, who were playing their inaugural match in Bunbury, is a team compromised of players with substantial State and international experience.

Each year they take on players bound to represent their State at national level in a bid to give them a taste of hockey at the next level.
