Jenaya Scott walked away with a new television set courtesy of Doors Wide Open and Bunbury Retravision on Friday.

Doors Wide Open chief executive Courtney Pugh said the raffle was a way to raise awareness as well as funds for the charity.

“The community coming together to support Doors Wide Open as the charity is what allows us to do the work we do,” she said.

“The support of businesses like Retravision and their board just gives us that extra boost to be able to help the people in the community that need help.”

The business has been a long-time supporter of Doors Wide Open since it started in 2016 and moved into its premises in the middle of 2017.

“We want to thank the community for buying raffle tickets, especially those that didn’t know about Doors Wide Open,” Ms Pugh said.

“We’ve really managed to spread the words about our operations because it gives us a chance to answer questions about who we are and what we do.

“The most important thing to us isn’t raising money through raffles, it’s spreading the word so we can reach more people.”

“This community is so good at coming together to support us.”
