Long Table auction set to be one of the greatest
A record number of auction items will become hot property at Sunday’s Chefs’ Long Table Lunch, including a boxing glove signed by Muhammed Ali himself.
Auction coordinator Ellen House said there was something for everyone in the collection of more than 75 items to be sold in silent, fast and live auctions on the event day.
“There is an enormous variety of different auction pieces varying from $100 to thousands and it is all going to a good cause,” she said.
“In the fast auction the items will be knocked off quickly, so people need to make sure they get in quick and bid so they don’t miss out.
“If it wasn’t for the generosity of Bunbury and South West businesses the auction would not be the success we anticipate it will be.”
Silent auction items include a Crash Cam Navigator from Camera House Bunbury, six bottles of St Aidan’s sparkling wine, two 1kg packs of Big Boy Rib Steaks from Ryan’s Quality Meats and an intricate metal bull sculpture from Elite Fabrications.
The fast auction will include a Serenade Beverly Hills Collection Handbag from Shoe Be Doo, $1000 of services from The Full Strip-Out and a framed Marilyn Munroe artwork from Deb West.
Some big ticket items will be sold during the live auction segment, including a diamond encrusted watch from Gold Smith Jewellers, a Jetty Pylon with Pelicans Sculpture from Kerry Trantham and a RCCL Cruise and Flight Voucher from Asia Escape and Latitude Holidays.
Diners will also have the chance to win a piece of jewellery crafted by Goldsmith Jewellers Bunbury through the purchase of a $10 “mystery box” containing a fresh water pearl.
Golf Box Joondalup will also give away a Cobra Putter and Taylor Made Golf Balls to the winner of a two putt competition.
