Police call for information after assault
A 23-year-old Bunbury man has been left with facial injuries after three men forced their way into his home early yesterday morning and assaulted him.
Bunbury detectives are this morning renewing calls for information as they investigate the attempted robbery and assault.
Police say the men forced their way into the Prince Philip Drive home about 3am and assaulted the man causing injuries to his head and face.
The three men left in a black Holden Commodore, police said.
The assaulted man was taken to Bunbury Hospital with facial injuries and lacerations, but was discharged a short time later.
Police described one of the intruders as dark-skinned and 25 to 30 years of age.
The other two men are described as fair-skinned and between 18 and 20 years old.
