Police investigate Australind crime spree
Information is being sought by police after a crime spree last night in the Australind area.
Between 6pm and 9pm, 11 reports were made to police of smashed windows as well as cars broken into and property stolen from Treendale, Australind and Kingston.
The crime spree started at Roseberry Lane in Kingston, continued to the Leschenault Leisure Centre and then to Treendale.
Australind police officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Mark Smith said police were following a number of leads.
During the spree, it is believed the windows were smashed with rocks fired from slingshots.
