Missing 68-year-old Anna Johnson has been found alive in thick bushland by State Emergency Service workers this morning.

Ms Johnson, known as Tina, was originally last seen in Millbridge on Saturday

Calls for help to locate the missing woman were renewed on Sunday when Australind police confirmed a car belonging to her was seen in Collie between 6.40pm and 7.30pm on Saturday.

Police yesterday launched a land search after the vehicle Ms Johnson was believed to be driving — a white Hyundai Tucson with registration BY 597P — was found on Toorak Road in Yourdamung Lake, near Quindanning.

Ms Johnson was today located close to where her car was found and is currently being medically assessed.

More to come.
