South West man facing child sex charges
Busselton Detectives have charged a 26-year-old South West man as a result of their investigation into alleged child sexual abuse incidents.
It is alleged in 2017, the man sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl and it is further alleged in 2019 he used social media applications to expose another 14-year-old girl to indecent material.
It is also alleged the man met the victims through his involvement with basketball.
The man will face Busselton Magistrates Court on August 27 charged with eight counts of sexual penetration of a child aged 13 to 16, attempted sexual penetration of a child aged 13 to 16, and using electronic communication to expose a child to indecent matter.
