Brad Blake’s remarkable career in motorsport continued on Saturday, claiming the Perth Motorplex Gold Cup.

Blake, who has achieved sustained success at State and national level in late-model racing, claimed the feature from Warren Oldfield and Brent Vosbergen after starting on pole.

There was extra significance about this victory, with Blake becoming the first driver to record 40 feature wins at the venue, along with backing up his State crown.

Despite a late surge from Oldfield and lapped traffic to deal with periodically, The 0 show — a nickname given to Bunbury-based Blake because of the number on his car — was unfazed and cruised home in style.
