Dogs on leashes and kids in prams were among those who crossed the finish line at this year’s SWAS Albemarle Fun Run.

Living up to its reputation as the fun run for everyone, the March 11 event attracted a diverse field of entrants, including serious competitors, to the Ridley Place Australind Foreshore.

A special 2km category gave youngsters the chance to experience the sense of achievement gained from completing a fun run.

Meanwhile, the 10km run, 5km run and 5km walk categories catered for a range of ages and abilities.

Every participant to finish the Fun Run received a medal along with all winners receiving a cash prize.
