Heading into Saturday morning’s showdown against the Harvey Bulls away from home, the Busselton women’s team has gone 16 quarters without conceding a solitary behind.

Unbeaten on top of the ladder, they have no percentage, as no one has scored against them yet.

The Bulls are not too far behind, having conceded only three points in as many matches. Similarly to the Magpies, they have a slick midfield and forward line which always function well.

While her defence has been rock-solid so far, Magpies coach Rennie Meadmore is equally thrilled about her side’s ability to kick big bags of goals each week.

“We honour training — there is no sitting there messing around,” she said.

“We really make sure everyone is putting in extra effort to make sure our kicking and marking is where it should be, along with our gameplay and strategies.”

Bounce down is at 11.20am.
