Synergy grant powers up work at club
Dribbling gutters will be a thing of that past at the Coalfields Hockey Council’s clubrooms thanks to Synergy’s Collie Small Grants.
After 21 years since their last upgrade, the gutters finally received a well overdue and much needed replacement to protect the valuable community asset.
Located on Preston Road, Coalfields Hockey Council president Gary Faries said the hockey grounds are home to the town’s women’s, men’s and junior leagues, with 350 registered players from children through to seniors.
“We are very thankful of Synergy for supporting Coalfields Hockey Council and helping us keep this fantastic asset in our community to a high standard for all to benefit,” Mr Faries said.
“The grants are a testament to the dedication of Synergy to support and give back to the Collie community.”
Collie business, DC Contracting and Maintenance was engaged to perform the work, creating further economic benefits for the community.
