It’s Christmas (in July) and there are plenty of revelries around to celebrate, Bunbury Neighbourhood Soup is back, and for the outdoorsy types - Kart racing!

1. British Invasion

The Sanctuary Golf Resort will host a Christmas in July British Invasion Rockumentary show and dinner on Saturday.

With a three course meal available, live music and entertainment, doors open at 6pm.

2. Musical antics

David Scheel is bringing his laugh-out-loud comedy to BREC tomorrow morning.

With a morning tea provided at 10am, the show gets under way at 11am and runs for 60 minutes.

3. Gunners

Tribute band Gunners are bringing their authentic Guns N’ Roses tribute show to the Prince of Wales Hotel on Saturday night.

Performing the greatest hits from Appetite for Destruction, Lies and Use Your Illusion I & II, the show starts at 8pm.

4. Neighbourhood Soup

Bunbury Neighbourhood Soup is back, supporting of creative and start up projects in Bunbury on Tuesday 31 July at the Rose Hotel.

For a $10 fee, attendees will receive soup, bread, a vote and will hear presentations on issues and topics concerning the Greater Bunbury community. All monies will go to the presentation which receives the most votes.

5. Kart club

Bunbury City Kart Club is holding a club meet on Sunday.

Spectators are welcome to attend for free with full canteen facilities and camping available – BYO generators.

6. Sprint regatta

Bunbury Rowing Club is holding a sprint regatta on Sunday.

Limited to fours and eights, competitors will race over a 500m course.

Racing starts at 9am and spectators are welcome.

Bunbury Rowing Club is on Cobblestone Drive, Bunbury.

7. Christmas a drag

The Privilege Group and Funkee Monkee Eatery and Bar will be hosting a Drag Christmas in July on Thursday.

Starting at 6pm, there will be three drag queens, more than 10 acts and games and a five course share dinner.

8. Drop in volleyball

Bunbury Indoor Beach Volleyball run social mornings on Tuesdays.

With no need for a team, players can just turn up and play.

Games start at 9.30am.

9. Film festival

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre’s International Film Festival is on again for 2018 with six captivating movies being screened from around the world.

The festival starts on Thursday and runs until next Saturday.

10. Flea market

The Stirling Street Arts Centre is hosting an undercover flea market on Sunday morning.

Plants, bric-a-brac, arts and crafts, books and a sausage sizzle will all be available from 9am.
