Visitors to the Busselton area from July 21-24 are being urged to be on alert after a case of measles was confirmed.

People who visited the Vasse Coles in the afternoon and evenings of July 21-24 and Vasse McDonalds on the evening of July 24 are being asked to stay vigilant for the onset of measles symptoms throughout the next 18 days.

Early symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose and sore eyes, followed by a red rash three or four days later.
