Partners of Men with Cancer

The Partners of Men with Prostate Cancer Bunbury Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from noon until 1pm at Dot's Place in Bunbury. The group provides information, understanding and friendship to the partners of men with prostate cancer. The next meeting will be held today. For more information, email christybri21@outlook.com .

Poultry silent auction

The Harvey Poultry Club will be holding a poultry silent auction on Sunday at the Harvey Show Grounds. Buyers and sellers are welcome. For more information, phone 9729 1791.

Traditional Trades Day

The South West Rail and Heritage Centre is holding a Traditional Trades Day on Sunday from 10am to 2pm in Turner Street, Boyanup. The group is looking for people practising traditional trades and crafts including whittling, leather crafts, handcrafts, book binding and more to attend the day and demonstrate their crafts, with the option to sell their finished product. Harp recital

A harp recital by Alice Giles will be held at the St Boniface Cathedral in Bunbury on April 28. Bookings can be made through www.trybooking.com/KOGC or by cash sales at the door. The event is supported by Harp Society of WA. For more information, phone Helen on 9720 2871.

Dardanup Arts Spectacular

The 2016 Dardanup Arts Spectacular will run at the Dardanup Hall between April 29 and May 1. For more information on how to enter, visit www.dardanupartspectacular.com.au .

Over the Top cocktail party

An Over the Top cocktail party will be held at the Koombana Bay Sailing Club on April 30. It is a fundraiser for Olivia Thurston who is battling Batten disease and people are encouraged to dress as something beginning with an "O" or "T". The party starts at 7pm and will include an auction, games and music by DJ Crackerz. Tickets are available at Bunbury City Glass for $45.

Recycled art competition

Bonking Frog Wines will hold its Upcycled Garden Art Competition to promote future sustainability from April 30 to May 8. The competition explores the possibility of recycling, repurposing, and upcycling materials into useful and decorative outdoor pieces. Balingup guided walk

A guided walk through the beautiful autumn landscape of the Golden Valley Tree Park in Balingup will be held as part of the Autumn Festival of Country Gardens on May 8. Starting at 10.30am, walkers will meet at the World Collection carpark at the Golden Valley Tree Park, just outside Balingup townsite. Sturdy shoes are recommended and the walk costs $5.

Young driver program

The South West Young Driver Development Program is running free Country Driving Forums on the second Tuesday of each month. The next one will be held from 7pm on May 11. Participants will gain a better appreciation of country driving hazards and will learn skills to help counter them. Limited places are available. For bookings, phone Irene on 0419 730 550.

MND fundraiser

Boyanup CWA is holding a fundraising dinner at the Capel Country Club to help raise money for people living with motor neurone disease. It will be held on May 13 from 6pm and tickets cost $15. For more information, phone Wendy on 9795 9111 or 0403 514 930, or Raelene on 0419 835 667.

Cake decorating workshop

The South West Branch of the Cake Decorators invites interested people to learn how to make and use moulds for decorating cakes. A workshop will be held at the Salvation Army Hall on May 14 at 10am.
